Why did you join the Moriuchi Group and why The Moriuchi Group?
I started my real estate career in 2006, I got licensed and started working at a brokerage that Naoji was also working at. Naoji and I shared an office and immediately started collaborating with each other to better assist each other and our clients. I got busy right away in the first year, but had a lot on my plate so I would refer different opportunities to Naoji because I knew the clients would be in great hands. I trusted him. Back then there wasn’t even a “team” concept but Naoji and I were a team, which is why we moved brokerages together. With our next move in Brokerages is when we made our team title more official, I was acting as an assistant but then decided to dive back into being a full time agent so he started adding support staff to the team and we haven’t stopped ever since. I started working with Naoji because I have always felt an instant connection with him, he has been extremely helpful to me in my professional and personal life. I also have always wanted to help him and ensure that he too is succeeding. We teamed up from the get go and haven’t looked back.
Why do you love being a real estate agent?
I know that buying or selling a home is the biggest purchase someone will make in their life. There are a lot of questions and emotions around it and it’s important they have someone that can properly support them. It gives me great pleasure to help people and to provide the knowledge that I have, walking them through the process of home ownership. What makes you a good agent?
I’m extremely detail oriented and I have a very structured process with the way I conduct my business. I also have great attention to detail ensuring nothing is missed, which is very important in real estate. I think this quality can be even more beneficial to first time home buyers. I take my time to walk them through all the details from what it will look like after they put an offer in or what they need to be prepared for during a closing. And if I don’t know the answer to a specific question? I go and find that answer and quickly get back to my client. I always aim to be my client’s trusted real estate advisor.
What’s your favorite part about living in south Jersey?
I would have to say I love the various small town feel/communities but at the same time you’re so close to metropolitan cities. You truly have the best of both worlds.
What do you do in your spare time?
I love to read, currently into a historical fiction series. I really love gardening, I definitely have a green thumb. I enjoy cooking, the great New Jersey beaches, going on long walks/hikes, yoga, and socializing with friends.
What’s an interesting fact about you?
I enjoy traveling and the most beautiful place I have ever been to that I think about often, is Santorini, Greece.
