Summer is not quite here, school is not quite out, but we’re ready for summer in Moorestown! Here are a few things to keep you occupied while you’re waiting for summer to get started.
Check out the summer concert series
Mondays just got a lot less gloomy! On June 18 and June 25 check out the Kid’s Stage for two distinct shows. June 18 is “A Voice of the People” – exploring a history of American Folk music. June 25th will feature Jen Dunne, Moorestown Children’s Librarian. Also featuring Trouble with Plaid – a local band playing soft rock. The 2018 Summer Concert Series is held on the Community House Lawn right on main street in Moorestown, starting at 6pm. Bring a blanket and some snacks and prepare to sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
Learn to bake
Moorestown is offering child baking classes all summer long. This June, kids grade 2 through 5 can enjoy a four day baking camp. This camp covers the basics of baking. Your child will learn to bake cakes, pretzels and more! The camp runs June 25 – June 28 from 1:30 to 4:30pm. To learn more, visit the Moorestown Youth Program page.
