Naoji’s journey to the Philadelphia Marathon

Here are a few of the runs I ran in Moorestown and Cinnaminson, NJ in preparation for the Philadelphia Marathon. I had many others so I welcome you to reach out to me to discuss some of my favorite runs. I’d also love to hear about your favorite local running routes in or near Moorestown, New Jersey. Thanks, and enjoy!

13.11 miles through Moorestown, NJ, and Cinnaminson, NJ with two potential bathroom stops

This route covers approximately 13.11 miles. It starts in Moorestown, NJ around the 100 block of East Oak Avenue and winds through Moorestown out to Wesley Bishop Park. There are porta potties at Wesley Bishop if needed. Through the industrial park into Cinnaminson, NJ where you pass Saint Charles Borromeo and Wood Park (another bathroom location if needed) and wind your way through various neighbors coming back to Moorestown.

11 miles through Moorestown, NJ and Cinnaminson, NJ with two potential bathroom stops

This route starts near the William Allen Middle School in Moorestown, NJ. You run towards Bridgeboro Road and make a left onto Bridgeboro and at the light of Bridgeboro Road and Chester Avenue, you make a left and go towards the town center. You make a right on Central and wind through Moorestown and eventually head toward Cinnaminson. There is a porta potty at Wesley Bishop Park on North Church Street and a bathroom in Cinnaminson, NJ at Wood Park. This is off of Pomona Road. You run through Cinnaminson and then come back to Moorestown, NJ via Riverton Road. You end the run by taking Maple Avenue and do the little hill on Chestnut Street and then make a left onto East Oak Avenue and then a left onto North Stanwick Road in Moorestown. This is an enjoyable route given the width of the streets and limited elevation changes.

9 miles through Moorestown, NJ, and Cinnaminson, NJ with one potential bathroom stop

This was a fun run I did with a friend. We actually met at the Chester Avenue and New Albany intersection. This actually looks like a cartoon head if you look real close. We ran together for about 5 miles and then I continued on to finish the Moorestown leg that takes you up Chester Avenue to Main Street and ends coming down Chestnut Street in Moorestown. The bathroom stop is at Wood Park in Cinnaminson, NJ.

3.75 miles through Moorestown, NJ no bathroom stops

Here is a shorter run in Moorestown that really takes you around the block of North Stanwick, Bridgeboro Road, East Main Street, and back down North Stanwick. Starting at the WAMS middle school gets you about 3.75 miles.

2.5 miles through Moorestown, NJ no bathroom stops

An even shorter run, but this enjoyable run has you starting on the 100 block of East Oak Avenue and has you running North Stanwick Road, Westover, Golf View Road, Hickory Lane, and up Chestnut Street to a right on Snyder Place and stopping around Plum Street. This is a nice run through a part of Moorestown with very little traffic and a slight elevation change on Chestnut.
