MOORESTOWN, NJ – Moorestown is among the best towns for families in New Jersey, according to a new ranking published by New Jersey Family Magazine.
The magazine looked at towns with more than 1,500 residents, and took into account several key factors, including average home sale price, crime rates, school performance, commute time, and diversity.
They then took that data to find the different rankings, including the best overall, best for commuters, and best large, mid-sized, and small towns.
Moorestown was ranked No. 26 in the entire state, and it topped the list of the best towns in Burlington County. The magazine told readers to “think open space and breathtaking historic homes just minutes from Philadelphia. Nature-loving kids will have a blast growing up here, thanks to the many parks, hiking trails and wildlife.”
The magazine cites Boundary Creek Natural Resource Area and Strawbridge Lake as main natural attractions. Read more here: Moorestown Rotary Donates $1,000 To Strawbridge Lake Committee
