Moorestown Friends School will be celebrating May Day 2018 this Friday, May 4th. May Day dates back to 1912 for MFS, and includes the infamous May Pole dance, music, activities, crafts and plenty of costumes to look at. May Day occurs every four years, and all students, from Pre-K to 12th grade, participate in the event, along with faculty, staff and alumni.
Some of the entertainment for the celebration includes jugglers, acrobatics, human chess and a performance of the classic Pyramus and Thisbe.
This year, Moorestown Friends is also participating in a food drive with Food Bank of South Jersey and collecting items like peanut butter, canned items, hot and cold cereal and pancake mix.
