In the third part of our Explore Collingswood series, we’ll look into the Collingswood Community. Explore all the events and programs that Collingswood has to offer.
Collingswood Farmers Market
The Collingswood Farmers Market has been a longtime Saturday staple since 2000. Every Saturday morning from May to Thanksgiving, enjoy locally-sourced produce and goods. Find produce, plants, baked goods, honey, coffee, dairy products, meats, and other fun stuff, like homemade dog treats!
When: Every Saturday from May to Thanksgiving; 8am to Noon; Rain or Shine
UpCycle NJ
Upcycle in Collingswood offers indoor cycling and barre classes. Yoga classes are also available through Yoga Wood, a local yoga studio also owned by upcycle. Both Yoga Wood and upcycle will be moving to a larger studio in January 2018.
Escape the Room South Jersey
Escape the Room is a popular live-action game where you are tasked with escaping a room in 60 minutes. Work with up to 9 other people to solve the puzzles and get out of the room before your time runs out! The Collingswood location has two rooms: a 1970s spy adventure and a 90s VHS rental store. Great for a few friends or a corporate team, Escape the Room is a great Friday night activity!
Collingswood Bike Share
The Collingswood Bike Share is a program that uses recycled and donated bikes and lets people use them to ride around Collingswood. The program promotes healthy living, as well as a green way to transport around town. The program allows residents to “borrow” a bike, and return it when they are done using it.
Restaurant Week
Collingswood’s restaurants offer 3 restaurant weeks during the year. Restaurant weeks offer prix fixe meals at restaurants like Tortilla Press, Indeblue, Nunzio Ristorante Rustico, and many more!
- Chef’s Favorites: March 26-31
- Farm to Fork: July 23-28
- The Root of it All: October 22-27
First Thursday Jazz Series
Starting this month, enjoy Jazz performances on the first Thursday of each month at the Collingswood Community Center. Performances start at 7:30 and tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. These events are BYOB and also offer free soft drinks.
Second Saturdays
Each month on the second Saturday, Collingswood shop owners open their doors to promote the arts in Collingswood. With art, music, dining, and more, enjoy all that Collingswood’s culture has to offer – for free!
